The Manipal Center for Humanities (MCH), Manipal, in collaboration with Gitam University, Hyderabad, will host a National Conference on Vernacular Periodicals: Caste, Society, and History in Modern India on 24th October 2024 at Dr TMA Pai Planetarium, Manipal. This conference will bring together scholars and researchers to delve into the significant impact of vernacular periodicals on shaping societal and caste-related narratives in modern Indian history.
