Gender and Demography Conference

The Manipal Centre for Humanities (MCH) is gearing up to host a National Conference on Gender and Demography in India on February 2, 2024. The conference, in line with the Sustainable Development Goal, aims to facilitate a comprehensive exploration of the interconnections between gender dynamics and demographic trends. In a country as diverse and populous as India, the interplay of gender dynamics with demographic trends presents unique challenges and opportunities. The conference will provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to discuss and share insights on the various facets of this crucial intersection within the Indian context.
