The MAHE-MIT NSS Unit, in association with Udupi City Corporation; Rotary Manipal Hills and Rotary International, successfully organized a Swachhata Abhiyan in Manipal, raising awareness on public health issues like Malaria and Dengue. Volunteers engaged with the community, educating them on disease prevention and the importance of cleanliness.
Additionally, NSS volunteers conducted a beach cleaning drive at Mattu Beach, where 45 dedicated participants removed over 20 bags of waste, restoring the shoreline and promoting environmental sustainability.
Both initiatives highlighted the team’s commitment to public health, cleanliness, and sustainability.
