Department of Applied Statistics and Data Science (DASDS), Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH), Manipal organised an Interactive Session on Clinical Trials on February 6, 2026.

The session focused on the pharmaceutical industry and the critical role of statistical methodology in clinical trials. The session featured distinguished speakers from Eli Lilly and Company, providing students with a bridge between academic theory and industry practice.

The topic for the session was Introduction to Clinical Trials and Career Pathways at Eli Lilly.

The speakers for the session were Hitendra Nath Pandey (Statistics Head at Eli Lilly)
