The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in association with the Science Association of Dr NSAM First Grade College, Nitte, organised a talk on “Career Opportunities in Data Science and Analytics” on August 22, 2025. The resource person was Dr Satyanarayana (Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Statistics and Data Science, Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal). During the talk, Dr Satyanarayana emphasised the importance of strong foundations in statistics and computing, encouraging students to leverage their academic strengths to explore career opportunities in data science, machine learning, and analytics. Dr Satyanarayana also highlighted the emerging scope of data science and analytics across diverse sectors, underscoring the growing demand for skilled professionals. He motivated students to pursue higher education and explore opportunities in both research and industry.
