The Manipal Institute of Virology (MIV) recently hosted the Biosafety and Outbreak Simulation Training 2025, a crucial capacity-building program conducted in partnership with the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), Ministry of AYUSH. This intensive, multi-day program was specifically designed to strengthen the biosafety practices and outbreak response capabilities of CCRH research scientists nationwide.  A major milestone of the event was the formal exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CCRH and Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). This MoU establishes a structured collaboration framework between the two institutions in the vital areas of research, education, and training, signaling a sustained commitment to advancing scientific excellence and bolstering national public health preparedness against emerging infectious diseases.
