On 21st June 2024 we had the honour of welcoming back Dr. Hasmukh Jain, our alumnus of the 2007 MD Medicine batch and a visionary in medical oncology, to our campus.

His pioneering work on India's first 'Made in India' CAR-T therapy has marked a significant milestone in cancer treatment. On April 4, 2024, the honourable President of India dedicated it to the nation.

It is a proud moment for KMC Mangalore as we celebrate his achievements and contributions to the world of medicine. He currently serves as a Professor and Consultant Medical Oncologist at Tata Memorial Centre.
