The newly renovated orthopaedic outpatient department at Kasturba Medical College Hospital at Attavar was inaugurated on 20/06/2024

Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao K., Pro Vice Chancellor of Health Sciences at MAHE, was the chief guest of the event. Dr. Prof. Shantharam Shetty was the guest of honour.

Dean Dr. B. Unnikrishnan shared his thoughts on the evolution of the orthopaedic department. The contributions of past heads, including Dr. Prof. Shantharam Shetty, Dr. B Seetharam Rao, Dr. Umanand Mallya, Dr. Surendra Kamath, and Dr. K R Kamath, were acknowledged at the event.

The attendees celebrated the new chapter for the Orthopaedic Department, poised to deliver enhanced medical services to the community.
