Dr. Haresh Satpathy is Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) of English in the Department of Commerce at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru. An academician with over 15 years of teaching experience, he holds M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in English from Sambalpur University, Odisha, with specialization in Theatre Studies, Translation Studies, and Cultural Studies. He has authored books, presented papers at national and international conferences, and published patents and scholarly articles in peer-reviewed and reputed journals. His teaching and research interests include English for Communication, Theatre Studies, Translation Studies, Discourse Studies, and interdisciplinary language pedagogy. His current research is directed towards the intersection of literature and commerce, with a focus on literary representations of business and society, narrative and rhetoric in corporate communication, and the application of literary analysis to enhance critical thinking and communicative competence in commerce and management education.
