Dr. Shivalika Agarwal

Assistant Professor, DLHS, MAHE

Dr Shivalika Agarwal has been awarded her PhD in Motherhood Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. Her research interests encompass motherhood studies, women’s studies, Indian writings in English, feminine psychology, and gender and sexuality studies. Her scholarly works have featured in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Postcolonial Writing, South Asian Popular Culture, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Journal of International Women’s Studies, Journal of Feminist Family Therapy, and Women: A Cultural Review. Additionally, she is also a reviewer for Routledge and Elsevier. Dedicated to fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment in both her research and teaching, Dr Agarwal actively collaborates with experts from various institutions in India and abroad for continuous self-growth and research. She also has a passion for creative writing, with her published work appearing in digital platforms like Madras Courier, Outlook India, miniMAG, Poetry as promised, Setu, Ghudsavar, and The Hooghly Review, among others.
