Charu Kriti
Assistant Professor
Charu Kriti comes with a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration in higher education. She holds a master’s degree in psychology from Banaras Hindu University and an LL.B. degree from the University of Delhi and is UGC-NET qualified. She is currently pursuing her PhD. Her teaching experience spans undergraduate and postgraduate programs, with expertise in Forensic Psychology. She has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at MAHE, Bengaluru since 2024. She is solely responsible for curating the Forensic Psychology Specialization for the M.Sc. Applied Psychology program and has developed curriculum for courses including Forensic Psychology, Cyber Forensics, Psychology and Law, Criminology and Criminal Behavior, and Rehabilitation and Correctional Psychology. In addition to her academic responsibilities, she serves as the Exam Coordinator and Timetable Coordinator for MILHS. She has also been involved in community outreach initiatives in the judicial community. Her research interests include Forensic Psychology, Analytical Psychology, gender identity, social injustice, and perceptual bias. She has published interdisciplinary research in these areas and has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations. Her interdisciplinary training in Psychology and Law informs her teaching, research, and engagement with contemporary social and behavioral issues. She is known for her innovative pedagogies and assessments.
