Learning / Information Centres are authorised to provide counselling and tutoring services to SMU-DE students. The Learning / Information Centres are equipped with infrastructure and facilities, as stipulated by the University, to effectively support the learning process under the distance mode. Many of the Learning / Information Centres make use of VSAT Technology, enabling broadcast of presentation from the studios at Manipal, Mumbai and Bangalore, which can be seen and heard live by the students at their Learning / Information Centres. The students are advised to make use of this high-end learning system. The Learning / Information Centres are also provided with CDs of VSAT classes to facilitate viewing of such programmes at any convenient time in the Learning / Information Centres.
